Waldperlach: Im Gefilde

Im Gefilde is the principal green space in this part of Waldperlach. Paths, trees and open ground interrupt the surrounding built fabric, creating room for walking, play and informal encounters close to home. The edges are especially characteristic: ordinary streets give way quickly to a quieter landscape, while nearby housing keeps the space embedded in daily neighbourhood life. Waldperlach is a green southeastern residential district of detached homes, gardens and woodland edges. Private gardens, hedges and mature trees create a softer boundary between street and home than in denser Munich quarters and make seasonal change highly visible.
